The Northshore Pet Resort is family owned and operated, with a love of pet care passed down through the generations. Since opening its doors in 2009, Northshore Pet Resort has become known for providing the highest standard of pet accommodation and services in North Brisbane. Northshore is an award-winning facility, with their achievements starting back in 2010, 2011 and 2012 when they won the Quest Business Achievers Awards 3 years in a row. More recently, Northshore has been a finalist in the Moreton Bay Region Business Excellence and Innovation Awards in both 2018 and 2019, and a Top 5 Finalist for the Small Business of the Year Award (run by Queensland Training Awards) in 2019 which celebrated organisations that strive for the best practice and innovation in education and training. They then went on to be a finalist 2 years in a row, 2020 and 2021, for the Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the Pet Services Category. As a member of multiple industry associations, Northshore Pet Resort aims to create a home away from home for the much-loved pets of Brisbane and beyond. Both company Directors are passionate about improving the standard of pet care in Australia and are currently the President and Secretary of the Australian Pet Care Association. This enables them to work routinely with the community to provide education on important animal-related issues, and also with local, State and Federal governments throughout Australia to consult on important issues surrounding the improvements proposed to the Animal Welfare legislation.
