The Northshore Pet Resort, previously Redcliffe Boarding Kennels and Cattery was established in 1998, it was then purchersed in 2009 by Garth and Karen De Bruin whose aim it was to provide a home-away from-home for North Brisbane's dog and cat population.

After many years of showing, breeding and obedience training of Samoyeds, Newfoundlands and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Garth and Karen saw a need for a Professional Pet Resort and set out 25 years ago to create a Resort style Pet Facility on 40 prestige acres in the Samford Valley.

Garth and Karen combined boast over 60 year’s direct experience in the industry, so you can be assured that your pets are well cared for and in professional hands.

During this time they built Samford Boarding Kennels and Cattery and later in 2000 changed its name to Samford Pet Resort after bringing in one of the first Deluxe pet accommodation of its kind in Australia. From there Samford Pet Resort managed by their son Blake De Bruin went on to win many awards including Quest Bussiness Achiver Awards 2006,2007,2008 and the Dogs Life PIA (Pet Industry Association) Best Boarding Service Australia 2007,2008,2009.

Garth and Karen in 2009 purchased this kennel in Redcliffe now know as Northshore Pet Resort with the vision of it becoming a sister Pet Resort of Samford Pet Resort. Northshore Pet Resort on the Redcliffe's Peninsula will follow in the foot steps of Samford Pet Resort to provide facilities above and beyond the normal offering.

So, the Northshore Pet Resort is set on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula spread over Aprox 2 picturesque acres (just 42km from Brisbane's CBD just off the Bruce highway or Houghton highway via the Gateway arterial road heading North).

The Northshore Pet Resort owned by Garth & Karen De Bruin is managed by their daughter and son in-law Kylie & Colin Mackay both with manny years experience in the Pet Care Industry.

They are continually improving their services and Accommodation to meet the needs of their customers, and strive to provide a safe and caring environment for the Pets in their care.

As founding members of the Association of Pet Boarding and Grooming (Qld) Inc, Garth and Karen take pride in upholding the Association's code of ethics. Samford Boarding Kennels are also accredited members of the PIAA (Pet Industry Association of Australia) and members of the ABKA (American Boarding Kennel Association).

Booking Fee
A booking fee is required for each pet booked. This is not refundable on cancellation or transferable but is deducted at the time of account settlement. All Fees are subject to change without notice.All refunds will have an an administration fee of $25 deducted.
