Guest Rooms

Based on shared accommodation, our doggy guest rooms are bright and cheerful, offer large comfy trampoline beds and are well insulated to keep the rooms warm during those cold and windy months, and cool during the hot summer months, making it the perfect spot for dozing! For added enjoyment, music is played throughout the accommodation, 24 hours a day. We do our best to get every dog out each day, but to guarantee exercise it is recommended that you purchase at least 1 playtime session per day for your pet’s holiday.

Combined with the large grassy areas and plenty of human contact, Northshore Pet Resort make your dog’s stay more like a holiday retreat than a boarding kennel.

Solo Rooms

We know that not everyone wants to share a room! Some dogs need to be solo 100% of the time and are not suitable to be mixed with other pets, whereas others are still social and can be mixed when fully supervised, but for many reasons will just prefer their own space once back in the room. Solo accommodation is compulsory for any Guests who are a solo breed dog, un-desexed, very elderly, or require reduced stimulation or play must book Solo Accommodation. If your pet would benefit from supervised social interaction and we assess them to be suitable for this, we are able to accommodation that.

Our Resort Room’s are specially designed for the very social pet’s! If your pet is more like your child than just a dog… then this is the boarding service for them. Our new Resort Rooms are more like a home away from home. They are designed to reduce the stress of being away from you, and give them the most enjoyable holiday possible.

The Resort Rooms makes your dogs’ stay with us even more special with big comfy beds, TV’s, and a specially made colourful floor just to set them apart from the rest.

To stay in these rooms, pets must be de-sexed and social with other dogs.

Included in the price is a daily playtime with the staff, and toilet breaks throughout the day as well as all the normal inclusions of yummy food, bedding (blankets and pillows) and heaps of cuddles.

If your pet is a pampered pooch who spends more time inside than out, our Deluxe suites are the answer. Designed to feel like their very own bedroom, these rooms are private accommodation with colourful artwork, air conditioning, TV and all day access to their very own personal grassy courtyard. Included in the price is a daily playtime with the staff, and toilet breaks throughout the day as well as all the normal inclusions of yummy food, bedding (blankets and pillows) and heaps of cuddles.

Doggie Day Care

We know that sometimes it’s hard to find enough time for your furkids after a long day at work. Some pets are full of energy and need that extra time to burn it off and play all day, and others miss you like crazy and need the distraction while you are away for long hours during the day.

Our Doggie Day Care service gives your pet a chance to socialise with other friendly, active dogs who thrive on the extra attention and learning the Resort routines. It’s also a fantastic way for your pet to get used to the boarding environment, so that when they come for their holidays at the Resort they settle in quickly and relax.

This service is not available with the use of the resort’s van service.
This service is not available during school holidays or public holidays.
All animals need to be desexed or neutered (unless under six months of age) and have a minimum of a C5 vaccination.

Why get playtimes?

What is the importance of a playtime for your pet while you’re away? Playtimes give your pet the opportunity to stretch their legs and get some exercise to clear their minds. By clearing their minds, we can relieve the stress of being away from home which improves their health.

Includes – Games that are interactive, check ups of pets, personal time, a brush over, a place to burn energy, socialisation, etc, all under the watchful eye of our trained staff. Happy and calm leads to a healthy pet!
